At the begging I was struggling as I didn't know what we could put in our website and what layout to choose. So first of all I created a CONTACT page in which I included a map how to find a venue, the address, links to all of our social media, University's and 2022 logos and also a data collection box, for which I also created a separate gmail account.
To create other pages I looked at many other gallery and exhibition websites. Most of them had a page on which they explain what it is about and what they are doing and other page on which they talk about the art, artists and what they are doing as individuals. So I decided that in our HOME page could go our group statement and a few photos from the exhibition and in ABOUT US page a small statement from each photographer and an image to represent they work. I wanted to keep the website simple and easy to navigate, not saying too much about the exhibition, but also to put enough information for people to decide whether it is something they are interested in.
It was hard to make, because I had to rely on other group members to write their statements and some of the parts on the website were left empty for quite a while. But at the end it al worked and our website was finished.
Moreover, due to the fact that I chose weebly.com, I was able to track how many people are visiting our page. That is our statistics:
