Creating a theme

After we agreed that we will use Twenty Twenty Two for our exhibition we started to think what our work could be about as in the brief it said that we need to respond to the venue or geographical area. On Saturday whilst being at work I was thinking what we could do, that is what I came up with:

1. The Wall

The thing that stayed in my head after looking at the images of our exhibition space was the white brick walls and I also had a song stuck in my head at that moment (Pink Floyd -Just another brick in the wall). However, I couldn't think of anything I could photograph and it seemed to be too difficult, bearing in mind that we had just 6 weeks to create an exhibition. So I started thinking what else we could do.

2. Nightlife

Twenty Twenty Two is a bar, it opens just at night and all Northern Quarter is full of bars, so why shouldn't we do about the life at night? We are also students and there is a saying that students never sleep. It also is a wider topic, so everyone could easily find what to photograph.

I told my ideas to a our group and they agreed to do about the nightlife, we just needed to come up with better title.
